Diff two build manifests listing component names and versions, and report added, removed and changed components in a release-note-friendly format.

Constraints

  • Manifest lines are 'name version'.
  • Output three sections: ADDED, REMOVED, CHANGED.
  • CHANGED shows the old and new version.
  • Sections with no entries are omitted.
  • Exit 1 if either file is unreadable.
  • Use only sort, join, comm or awk.
